What do you think a formidable conqueror should look like? It turns out that it may well be an outwardly harmless and even cute soft-bodied creature that moves at a speed of no more than two meters per minute. It does not even have sharp claws and strong fangs. But it is quite capable of causing irreparable damage to the nature of those places where it managed to get. The red Spanish slug - it became the hero of the film from the series "Aliens Among Us". Having got to the territory of Russia less than ten years ago, it has already caused panic among scientists and farmers. The red slug devours literally everything in its path - plantings of cultivated plants, tree seedlings in city parks and harvests in summer residents' plots. Journalists very quickly declared this animal a real fiend of hell. They write that it is terribly poisonous, and even touching it can be dangerous - after all, it carries a whole set of parasites that can live in the human body. But how dangerous is this alien for us, and will nature be able to cope with the slug invasion on its own? You can find out by watching the documentary series “Aliens Among Us”.
