By far the largest construction site in Vienna is currently the expansion of the Vienna subway. To be more precise, it involves the extension of the U2 to Wienerberg and the construction of the new U5 line, which will eventually run to Hernals. In this video I take a closer look at the construction site at Pilgramgasse. Here, the existing station of the U4 line is currently being converted into a line crossing. As if that wasn't enough of a challenge, just below the surface is the right Vienna River collector canal, which has to be relocated to create the new station. In this video I'll show you how the collector canal is being relocated and what else is happening at the construction site at Pilgramgasse. Have fun!
