#History #Postwar Hello! In this episode of the Postwar series, I'm taking you to South America for the first time. Ernesto Che Guevara will be traveling with me across the continent. Although his face is now an element of pop culture, few people realize what his story was. I decided to change that. Was he a criminal or a hero? How did he become a communist? I try to answer these and other questions in the latest episode of the series. In this installment of Postwar, I focused on Che Guevara's childhood and youth. The future revolutionary came from Argentina, from where he set off on a journey across the American continent in his youth. He visited several countries. He saw how the policies of the United States influenced the fate of Latin American countries. The Cold War on this continent looked a bit different than in the rest of the world. The Soviet Union was somewhere far away. American countries were therefore closely linked to Washington's policies. This definitely influenced Che Guevara's decisions and fate. If you are curious about this character, I encourage you to watch the episode. The photos used in the film come from, among others, from the public domain and the Office of Historical Affairs of the Cuban Council of State. As always, thank you to the patrons for co-financing my channel! https://www.patronite.pl/powojnie You are great! And now I invite you to the latest episode of the Post-war series :) PS In the second part of the film the sun started to shine quite strongly, which is why the image quality dropped quite a bit at one point. Fortunately, it only lasted a moment :)
