In this show, Eric Perrin sets off with Alain Jacq, creator of hiking trails and member of the Limousin mountain guides' office, to discover the beautiful Collonges-la-Rouge and its surroundings. It was in this medieval town, with its rich history and incredible red color, that the association of the Most Beautiful Villages of France was born in 1982. 40 years later, the association brings together 172 villages and has become a major player in rural tourism. Eric Perrin then takes you a few kilometers from Collonges-la-Rouge, to another village with a romantic history: Turenne. It is impossible to come there without climbing the castle, perched on a promontory, it offers an exceptional 360-degree view. This building, built from the 11th century, has been in the family of Camille Zambaux for three generations. To end this Corrèze stroll, we take you to Curemonte, an ancient medieval town with white limestone. During a detour in Corrèze, we will try to understand why the tourist development of all these beautiful villages is as much an opportunity as a danger?
