As the plane crossed the Andes, the pilots mistakenly believed that the aircraft was already flying over the Curicó plain (Chile) and began to descend... but the reality was that they were doing so in the middle of the mountain range, crashing into the edge of a mountain. This is the beginning of an EPIC story told by the survivors themselves. NOTE: I have re-uploaded the 1st part of this series (both on YouTube and ivoox) because some people wrote to me saying that the volume of the background music was a bit high and made it difficult to listen to the survivors' testimonies ????.
