What God singled out Moses from among the prophets other than our Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, of direct speech occurred to our Prophet, as God Almighty spoke to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, likewise without the mediation of Gabriel on the Night of the Isra and Mi’raj. Allah the Almighty combined virtues for His Prophet Moses, peace be upon him, including prophethood, messengership, speaking, and bringing close to Allah. Allah bestowed upon him the favor of making his brother Aaron a prophet: {And mention in the Book, Moses. Indeed, he was chosen, and he was a messenger and a prophet. And We called to him from the side of the mount on the right side, and brought him near as a confidant. And We bestowed upon him from Our mercy his brother Aaron, a prophet.} [Maryam: 51-53].
