Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was the last Messenger sent by Allah SWT to deliver the message of Islam to mankind. He was born in Makkah in the year 570 AD, from the Quraysh tribe, which at that time was highly respected in the city. However, even though the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came from the same tribe, many of the Quraysh were against preaching. The infidels of the Quraish Refer to the Makkah community group that rejected the teachings of Islam brought by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. They hold firmly to the traditions of their ancestors who worship idols and lead a life full of polytheism. When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ began to preach, the Quraysh felt threatened because his preaching called for the worship of Allah SWT, which is contrary to the polytheistic belief system they adhere to. The Quraysh made various efforts to stop the Prophet's preaching, ranging from insults, economic boycotts, to torture of the followers of Islam. They see the teachings of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as a threat to their power, wealth, and influence. However, despite experiencing severe pressure and challenges, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ remained steadfast in his mission to spread Islam, until finally the teachings of Islam succeeded in developing and taking strong roots, not only in Makkah, but also in all corners of the world.
