The project focuses on: Winter aid - provision of warm clothing and blankets, Food and medicine - provision of basic foodstuffs and essential medicines. Fuel - provision of fuel to power electric generators during the winter months. Mattresses - provision of mattresses, as many internally displaced Christians have to sleep on the ground. This support should allow the families concerned to live in dignity and alleviate their distress. William Shomali, born on May 15, 1950 in Beit Sahour in the West Bank, has been an auxiliary bishop of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem since 2010. He is currently the Vicar General and Patriarchal Vicar in Jerusalem and Palestine.
