Nematullah Azmouda, known by his stage name Agassi, was born on July 29, 1318 in Hawaz and died on November 14, 1384 in Karaj. Nematullah Agassi was an actor and one of the famous singers of popular and street music before the Islamic revolution of 1357. Although his brother was a teacher, he left school halfway and earned money as a laborer. He also continued to play sports in Taj Ahvaz Club despite his mobility impairment, and he became interested in singing at the beginning of his youth. Nemat Agassi gained a lot of fans by singing songs like Amina and Leb Karon in Lalezar music cabarets in Tehran. One of the memorable memories of Nemat Agassi is his Bandari dance, which he performed by twisting a white handkerchief in his hand. After his successful performances in Lalehzar, he was the first singer of Lalehzar whose voice was broadcasted on Iran's national radio and television. Also, the song Zarayb Moazaneh is also theirs. Nemat Agassi had 7 children and 5 grandchildren from his two marriages. His children, named Alireza and Daud, are now singing in the style of their father. Alireza lives in the United Arab Emirates and Daud lives in Turkey. His first wife Shahla Agassi died on July 5, 1402. Nemat Agassi entered the cinema at the invitation of Manouchehr Nozari and has recorded 9 films in his film career.
