Documentary film The Magic of Podlasie-Szeptuchy A story about Podlasie from the perspective of contemporary folk medicine rooted in the tradition of whispering, i.e. the tradition of zamowy in the language of the Old Church Slavonic people passed down from generation to generation. The film asks many questions, to which it seeks answers from experts from various fields: therapists/psychologists, anthropologists, ethnographers, but also the inhabitants of Podlasie. Why in today's civilized world do we still reach for the methods and means of healing the bodies and souls used by our ancestors? Who are the Szeptunki and Szeptuni really? How does contemporary psychology view rituals and zamowy? Consultants: Dr. Elżbieta Galińska, Małgorzata Charyton, prof.
