The night will shine like the day, for the darkness is light to you. 13 You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful! Of this I am certain. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in secret, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed form; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17 How precious are your thoughts to me, O God! How great is their sum! 18 If I could count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand; if I finished counting them, I would still be with you. 19 Oh, that you would kill the wicked, O God! Let murderers be far from me! 20 For they speak evil of you; in vain they rebel against you. 21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord? Do I not detest those who rebel against you? 22 I hate them with all my heart; I consider them my enemies. 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my troubles. 24 See if there is anything in my conduct that offends you, and lead me along the path everlasting.
