The Karakachan dog is a typical shepherd dog of Bulgaria. It is one of the oldest #guarding dogs for herds of farm #animals in Europe. In Bulgaria, the dog is also called by its synonyms - Shepherd's dog, Shepherd's dog, Wolf dog, Wallachian dog. The Karakachan #dog is a local #breed of ancient origin, bred to protect herds of farm animals from predators and thieves.
