Two black women, academics, who, fooled by the ideological siren song in their adolescence, went through a phase in which they felt represented by left-wing agendas aimed at minorities (in their case, black people and women) – and then, precisely out of love for the truth and their own values, discovered through their own studies how such Marxist-based ideologies did not represent them as individuals, nor as part of a population. The origins and aspects of racial issues in Brazil and the US among conservatives – especially black people – and how anti-racism was “hijacked” throughout the 20th century by left-wing revolutionary ideologies. Just like feminism, how the “three waves” of the black movement occurred; what Marx and Foucault have to do with this history; and, speaking of these two white European men, the “Eurocentrism” that the movement criticizes but uncritically adheres to.
