We've had lots of big trees before, but this one was something special, hard as steel and heavy as gold. We needed 23t of material. As the neighbor's lawn had to be completely dent-free (a prerequisite for working on this property) and the owner only had an 80cm forte at the back of the property, the mobile sawmill workers unfortunately had to cancel after inspecting the access. After we saw how much the material weighs, it would have been difficult to get larger boards out of the property without technical aids. It was amazing. None of us has ever had to fell wood that heavy, not even the heaviest beech was as dense as this oak. We have now experienced for ourselves what is technically impossible.
