For job hopper Dominik Becker, the visit to our bakery was a bit like coming home. As the son of a master confectioner, Dominik went to Klein's bakery in Hürth Park, where he met Svenja Siewertsen, who has been working there as a bakery saleswoman for 16 years. Klein's bakery operates over 100 branches in the Rhineland. Svenja is now the branch manager and knows every bread roll, every pretzel stick and every coffee specialty inside and out. Her tasks extend far beyond baking: she writes duty rosters, manages her team and always has an open ear for her customers' concerns. Despite the early alarm clock ringing at 4:30 a.m., she enjoys going to work every day and also enjoys the variety that late shifts bring. For a day, Dominik supported Svenja in her work and experienced first-hand how much passion and commitment goes into this job.
