In this tutorial, you will learn what the new EU unitary patent is, how it differs from the European patent and what changes with its introduction. You will also learn about the new Unified Patent Court and what responsibilities it has. And we will show you the advantages and possible disadvantages of the European unitary patent. This tutorial complements a three-part tutorial series introducing the topics of “intellectual property and patent research”.
