Very popular since the Baroque era, improvisational musical jousts pitting two renowned virtuosos against each other, Handel and Scarlatti, Mozart and Clementi, etc., were considered by those who attended them as unique moments of virtuosity and creativity. After the creation of this concert at the Festival International de la Roque d'Anthéron in August 2020 and the success it met, Pascal Amoyel and Dimitris Saroglou offer you a second version by putting themselves in the shoes of two great composers, virtuoso pianists and improvisers: Chopin and Liszt. Through a spectacular joust imagined between these two geniuses, famous themes from classical music (but also from jazz or popular music) will be offered interactively with the audience and treated with humor and boundless imagination! A bloody but very friendly Duel! Filmed in concert on 11/11/2022 at the Festival Notes d'Automne. Sound recording: Olivier Bouet, images: Jean-Claude Moral.
