Oh Chong Song, who does not give up despite five bullets, manages to cross the border. In an interview he later gave, he stated that he did not blame his fellow soldiers and that he would have done the same thing if he had been caught. He would probably have been sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labor or executed. Oh Chong Song was unconscious when he was carried to a safe area by South Korean soldiers.
