I went to the Canary Islands to discover and document the consequences of mass tourism. Tensions are high: between local protests and widespread discontent, many inhabitants want to keep tourists and digital nomads away. But what is really happening? We will explore the impact of uncontrolled tourism on the islands, on the local cultural fabric and the damage caused by careless management. Among the emerging problems we find the abandonment of luxury resorts, left empty and decaying, and the birth of a real favelas in the south of Tenerife, symbol of a social and environmental crisis. Faced with this complex situation, is there a way out? We will talk to those who have always lived on the island to understand if there is a possible solution, capable of restoring balance and respect for the local culture. I have been making videos on Youtube since 2008, from Gaming to Tutorials, from Vlogs to Documentaries. Traveling and meeting people of all kinds, I have understood that many realities are often distorted or ignored.
