Florian Jantzen is about to leave for the USA, but his club FC Deekelsen is playing against a team from Fabian Busch's football boarding school. The latter's talented striker Kojo Kwabena proves his class, but in the middle of the game he is hit by a bad coughing fit. When Florian challenges him to a sprint after the game, Kojo finally collapses. Dr. Jan Bergmann, who actually only wanted to pick up his son, examines Kojo in his practice and notes unusual lung noises. As an important Bundesliga coach has registered for another test match, Kojo's world falls apart when Jan confronts him with his suspicion: tuberculosis. Kojo has to go to the clinic for further examinations, and his coach Busch, who is also his guardian, heartlessly turns away from him. Does Kojo have to give up his dream of a career as a professional footballer forever? Shipyard owner Christian Schulte suffers from severe neck tension and asks Dr. Bergmann for a remedy for his pain. He would rather see his patient rest for a week and writes him off sick. But Maren wants to throw a farewell party for Florian in the new café, so her friend Laura asks Christian for help with the last renovation work. He doesn't want to say no to Laura's request and secretly takes medication for his pain. During the work, for which Maren has also mobilized her father-in-law Heinrich to help, the otherwise very likeable boat builder suddenly behaves very strangely. Laura is irritated: has she fallen in love with the wrong person again? The tense situation between Anja and Louisa's au pair Olivia Santos is coming to a head. Anja is frightened by the feelings she has for Olivia - and so she withdraws radically. The young Brazilian does not understand what she has done to Anja. Crying, she admits to Maren that she is now very homesick.
