The Inspector and his team were not superheroes, but normal police officers who did their job - hunting criminals. Violence was left out because it was recognized that exploring the psyche of a perpetrator is much more revealing for solving a case. Screenwriter Herbert Reinecker, well known for other top series such as “Derrick” and “Der Alte”, once again proves his skills as a master of crime series.
