A trip from Germany to the unusual Italian town of Merano in South Tyrol, where the majority of the population speaks German, where the snow-capped mountain peaks create a unique background for the palm trees and exotic plants in the parks of the old town and the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle. You will also find the most striking landscapes from our travels there. ????The road from Bavaria to South Tyrol itself is a real adventure, as it passes through passes, huge gorges, along slopes with vineyards, among which ancient castles or what is left of them flash. ???? Merano is a lively spa town with thermal baths, easy walking routes through the historic centre, botanical gardens and promenades along the Passer River, inviting travellers to linger and enjoy the green and pleasant atmosphere. Tourists will also find plenty of shops and restaurants in medieval arcades and next to elegant Art Nouveau buildings.
