The B7 model was the first snowmobile mass-produced by L'Auto-Neige Bombardier. It was designed for commercial use and could carry up to seven passengers. Unlike the standard model, it did not have side windows. Starting in 1940, the B7 was equipped with a new suspension system to improve traction; the spoked wheels were replaced by solid steel wheels, thus eliminating the risk of snow accumulation in the system. 1992 (73) La Cadillac de la Neige, video on the Bombardier Snow mobile (TVC-VM 50 ans) Src: Centre d'Archive Régional de Charlevoix.
