One of the best attributes of Virgin Voyages is the culinary experience it offers. They have 6 specialty restaurants on their cruises that are included in the base fare. The quality of the food and the overall experience at their restaurants is recognized as being one of the best in the cruise industry. In this video we will show you these 6 Virgin Voyages specialty restaurants and know what to expect from each one. (All prices are in USD). While we do most of our trips with points and miles, there are exceptions. This cruise was a 14-night transatlantic leaving Miami and arriving in Barcelona with stops in Funchal, Malaga, and Valencia. We booked it directly with Virgin Voyages and it cost us $2,700 for the two of us for a centrally located cabin with a balcony. Less than $100 per day per person! An absolute bargain for the quality and level of the trip, which is why we couldn't pass it up. Plus, the fare included a $600 credit to use on the ship for drinks, treatments, or whatever you wanted, plus an additional $100 and other perks (like daily specialty coffee and a complimentary laundry bag) that we got from an MSC match status offer. We used those $700 credits for a spa visit (recommended!) and drinks (wine, beer, and fresh juices), and even a visit to the doctor on board, and we had about $80 left over ???? They go a long way, however, we've read that drink prices have gone up recently. Virgin sometimes runs promotions where you can book certain itineraries with points directly. The amount of points depends on the itinerary and days, but they're usually between 80,000 and 300,000 points (for 2 people). These deals can be found in the Virgin Red app. This cruise was not available with points, but if we wanted to use points for this cruise, we could: 1️⃣ Pay with the Capital One Venture or Venture X card and apply 270,000 miles to cover the transaction (not recommended, but possible). This transaction would have earned us 5,400 points if paid with either of these cards. 2️⃣ Redeem 270,000 Chase and/or Citi points in cash and pay our card with these points (also not recommended, but possible). Since we know that with 270,000 points we can do a lot more than just this cruise if used strategically, we preferred to get a new card (link below), pay for the cruise with it, get the 90,000 point welcome bonus, and save our points for more lucrative redemptions. ✅ Tip: If you see an offer that's too good to pass up, take advantage of it! These usually go very quickly. Learn in detail the cards we recommend the most: ???? Ink Business Unlimited: https://endeuda2.com/credit_card/ink-... ???? Current best offer ????
