Abu Sahl [AS] (Akh) Christian. Isa bin Yahya Jurjani, an Iranian Christian. He was born in Jurjan and his origin is Baghdad. Mehdab al-Din Abdur Rahim bin Ali, who is one of the wise men of his time, says that among the early and late Christian writers, no one was as eloquent and eloquent as Abi Sahl, and Govind al-Raees Abu Ali Sina was his student and wrote some of his books in his name. When the fame of his knowledge and practice reached the ears of King Al-Adil Khwarazmshah Abu'l-Abbas Ma'mun bin Muhammad, the art-loving king, he invited him to his court. He stayed in his service for a long time and named some of his books, including the Book of Al-Tabeer, in his name, and there is a prosodic Nizami of Samarqandi in Chaharmaqala that: Abu al-Abbas Ma'mun Khwarazmshah had a minister, his name was Abu al-Hussein Ahmad bin Muhammad al-Sahili, a man of wise character, generous and virtuous. And Khwarazmshah was also a sage and virtuous friend, and because of him, several sages and virtues had gathered at that door, such as Abu Ali Sinaw and Abu Sahl the Christian. And Abul Khair Khamar, Abu Rihan Biruni, and Abu Nasr Iraq, but Abu Nasr Iraq was the nephew of Khwarazm Shah, and in mathematics and its types, he was second to Ptolemy and Abul Khair Khamar, in medicine, he was third to Hippocrates and Galen, and in astronomy Abu Maasher was in place of Abu Maasher and Ahmad bin Abdul Jalil, and Abu Ali Sina and Abu Sahl were the successors of Aristotle in wisdom, which includes all sciences. In that service, this sect had no need of the world and they were friendly in conversation and pleasure in correspondence. They did not like the times and the sky did not allow them, that luxury was lacking for them and that time appeared for them. A well-known person came from Sultan Yamin al-Dawlah Mahmud with a letter, the subject of which was that I heard that there are many people from the people of Fazl who are unique, like so and so, in the Majlis of Khwarazmshah. And we are inspired by his knowledge and abilities, and we have that blessing from Khwarazmshah, and his messenger was Khwaja Hossein bin Ali Mikal, who was one of the great men of the age and a wonder among men. The era and work of Mahmud was flourishing at the peak of his government, and his government was respected by the Alavi and the kings of his time, and they all slept on him at night. Khwarazmshah sent Khwaja Hussain Mikal to a good place and gave him great food, and before giving him birth, he called the sages and presented this letter to them and said Mahmud is strong and has a large army and has captured Khorasan and India. And because of greed in Iraq, I can't follow his example and follow his command. What do you say about this? Abu Ali and Abu Sahl said that we should not go, but Abu Nasr, Abu al-Khair and Abu Rihan were willing when they heard the news of Sultan Hami's prayers and miracles. So Khwarazmshah said, take the two of you who are not willing before I give birth to this man, so Khwajah made tools for Abu Ali and Abu Sahl and accompanied them and they went to Gurgan by way of Gurgan. The next day, Khwarazm Shah Hussain Ali gave birth to Mikal and joined the good deeds and said, "I read the letter, and it was based on the content of the letter and the king's command. Abu Ali and Abu Sahl have gone, but Abu Nasro, Abu Rihan and Abu Al Khair are mobilizing to come to their service, and Bandak Rozgar made a leaf for them, and with Khwaja Hussain sent Mikal and they came to Balkh to serve Sultan Yamin al-Dawlah Mahmud and joined his presence. Abu Ali was meant by Sultan and Abu Nasr Iraq was a painter. He drew Abu Ali's face on paper and asked painters to draw 40 faces based on that example and sent them around with sticks and asked the surrounding companions to call him Abu Ali Sina and call him Abu Ali Sina. But when Abu Ali and Abu Sahl went from Hazrat Khwarazmshah with the person of Abu al-Hossein al-Sahli, they did as if they had gone fifteen farsangs in the morning. In the morning, they landed at Chahsari, so Abu Ali took the calendar and looked to see that the baby Talah had come out. When he looked, he turned to Abu Sahl and said, "We have come out to lose our way, and we see a lot of danger." I don't want my life to end in these two days. And he is decisive. There is no hope left for me and after this there will be a meeting between us. So they drove away. Abu Ali narrated that on the fourth day, a wind arose and stirred up dust, and the world became dark, and they lost their way, and the wind obliterated the path, and when the wind calmed down, the reason was even more lost than theirs. Alam Baqa passed and Dalil and Abu Ali fell in love with a thousand intensity - end. And as it is used in Shahrzouri's narration, even though he was afraid of religion, Abu Sahl was not bound by its appearances, as he never came to Christian synagogues. It is from the words of Abu Sahl: Nama at noon, after eating good food, I have a drink of al-Dawaa al-Nafi; It means that it is more beneficial for patients to have a short sleep after food than medicine. Jurjani's most famous book is his 100th book in medicine, which consists of 100 articles, and this book is the first comprehensive book of Islamic medicine, and it can be said that it is the same as the plan that Abu Ali laid the foundation of the law on. The first third of this book is about the generalities of the industry, the second third is about common diseases, and the third is about special diseases. And Ibn al-Talimiz Amin al-Dawlah Mowafq al-Din has comments on this book, and it is said that Noman Israeli, a famous physician, removed the will of the masters of al-Ma'e's autobiography. ۞ And again from the books of Abu Sahl:
