Hercule Poirot takes on the case of the theft of a world-famous ruby. The trail leads to the ancient estate of Kings-Lacey. On Christmas Eve, family and friends gather at the estate to celebrate and taste the traditional English pudding. Hercule Poirot is also invited to the holiday. The detective goes to Kings-Lacey, not suspecting that he will have to deal with one of the most unusual cases in his practice, in which Christmas pudding plays a special role.
