The train has been in the Pla de Vilanoveta workshops for a week for assembly and has already been able to travel along the track to Balaguer. The new train is the same model as the other two that already operate on the line, also built by Stadler. From now on, this unit will begin to circulate on the section owned by Ferrocarrils and the forecast is that it will enter commercial service with passengers once this testing period has ended, around May. With the arrival of this third unit, it will not be necessary to implement substitute bus services, in the event of a breakdown or overhaul in any of the trains. Therefore, despite the entry into service of the third train, no changes are expected to be made to the current schedules and services.
