I make videos hoping to convey the spectacular views, emotions, ruggedness, and route conditions of mountain climbing. This video was taken in late September, when I first visited the Northern Alps in about a year, and was a 3-day, 2-night traverse from Shinhotaka Onsen to Mount Sugoroku, via Nishikama Ridge, to Mount Yari. I had previously tried to reverse the route, but had to give up midway through Nishikama Ridge and Mount Sugoroku due to bad weather and knee problems.
