The most accurate estimate we have gives us a number close to 96 billion light-years in diameter, where we have concentrated all the galaxies and stars that our telescopes can reach. This means that the theoretical limit of observation would be close to 48 billion light-years in exactly all directions. Now, the most important telescope of today may have reached this limit, observing galaxies that border the cosmic horizon.
