The story of the Stalker series, which hosts Dangerous Mutants, Deadly Anomalies, Bandits and Radiation, is quite interesting, although quite complicated, as it is connected to real-life events. The Stalker game series, which is based on the novel Roadside Picnic published in 1972, takes place around the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. After the second major disaster in this region, strange mutants, abnormal zones and many other interesting things emerge in the region. Among these things, there are objects called Artifacts, and many people try to make a living by collecting and selling these things. However, this region is not just about things like Cheeki Breeki. The history of the region is home to many tragedies, betrayals and failed experiments. Likewise, the cause of the second disaster that created the region was a failed experiment, albeit well-intentioned. In this video, I tried to present this story, which can be considered complicated, to you in an orderly manner.
