In the chat that closed the #NaJanelaFestival, we invited indigenous leader Ailton Krenak and neuroscientist Sidarta Ribeiro to reflect on the moment we are living in. The mediation was done by journalist and screenwriter Carol Pires. Remember that the works of all authors who participated in the festival are on sale on Amazon Brazil: https://amzn.to/2yuCEhq Ailton Krenak is the author of “Ideas to postpone the end of the world” and “Tomorrow is not for sale” and one of the most prominent activists in the socio-environmental movement and in defense of indigenous rights. In his work, he criticizes the way human beings relate to nature — as something separate from our existence. Meanwhile, Sidarta Ribeiro examines, in “The oracle of the night”, not only why we dream and the importance of this process, but also the relevance of dreams throughout our history. #NaJanelaFestival was an online event that brought together, from May 22nd to 24th, a series of conversations about non-fiction literature with renowned Brazilian authors. We would like to thank all the readers who followed us throughout these four days and also those who follow us on YouTube daily. We hope that, in these difficult times, the dialogues provided by #NaJanelaFestival will be good company. * Social networks of the panel members: Sidarta Ribeiro Insta: @ribeirosidarta Carol Pires Instagram: @pirescarol Twitter: @pirescarol
