When I first found myself in Szymbark, I was speechless. I did not expect that such a place existed on the map of contemporary Warmia and Mazury. The majestic, Gothic ruins strongly stimulated the imagination to think about what this fortress must have looked like in its heyday. Later, as I learned the history of this place, it only got more interesting. When I met Michał Młotek (Internetowe Muzeum Iławy) and his work, I also learned that the castle could be a potential place to hide deposits from World War II. I try to tell you all about it, at least in a few words, in this episode. I hope that you will also be fascinated by this place.
