I wanted to create a new and secure foundation for backups, team sharing, and a small home media center. Over the years, I've owned several NAS, or network attached storage, i.e. network drives, from several brands and even one made by myself, but somehow they always went negative in the end. Whether it is software developments, required maintenance or functions, the time has come for a long-term and secure investment. In this video, the DS923+ mentioned in the title will be scrutinized, prepared and tested. This unit was sent by Synology for testing at my request.
