Drones have been sighted more and more frequently recently over military facilities in Germany. The Federal Cabinet has therefore decided that the Aviation Security Act should be amended. However, the Bundestag still has to agree. Since Putin's war of aggression against Ukraine, we have seen "that drones are being used more and more frequently," said Interior Minister Faeser. It is necessary for the Bundeswehr to be able to intervene in cases of doubt. There are many indications that the Kremlin has an interest in spying, said drone and security expert Rafael Loss from the European Council on Foreign Relations in an interview with ZDFheute live. Observation with drones can be used to determine "where certain weak points in the installation can be found and how these could be attacked efficiently."
