It is explained that those who take gods other than Allah will not be helped on the Day of Judgement, and those who suffer the most in terms of deeds are those who think they are doing good deeds. It is explained that interpretation does not prevent a person from falling into disbelief, on the contrary, every unbeliever falls into disbelief based on an interpretation, and whoever denies one of the fundamentals of faith denies both Allah and the Day of Judgement. It is explained that those who believe and do righteous deeds will have the Gardens of Paradise and that righteous deeds are deeds that are in accordance with the law of the Prophet (pbuh). Verses read in the 12th lesson of the Tafseer of Surah Kahf: 99. On that Day We will leave them, one part (of the earth) floating in the other, and the Trumpet will be blown, and We will gather them all together. (18/99) 100. On that Day We will present Hell to the disbelievers in a manner that (they) will not bear to hear My remembrance. (18/100) 101. Those whose eyes were veiled from My revelation, and they would not bear to hear (the Quran). (18/Al-Kahf, 101) 102. Do the disbelievers think that they will take My servants as protectors instead of Me? Indeed, We have prepared Hell as a place of residence for the disbelievers. (18/Al-Kahf, 102) 103. Say: “Shall We inform you of those who are the greatest losers in deeds?” (18/Al-Kahf, 103) 104. Those who think that they are doing good, while their efforts in the worldly life are in vain? (18/Al-Kahf, 104) 105. Those are the ones who have denied the verses of their Lord and the meeting with Him, and their deeds have gone in vain. We will not attach any value to them on the Day of Resurrection. (18/Al-Kahf, 105) 106. This is Hell, the punishment for them because they were disbelievers. (And) they have ridiculed My verses and My messengers. (18/Kahf, 106) 107. Surely, the home of those who believe and do righteous deeds is the Gardens of Firdevs. (18/Kahf, 107) 108. They will abide therein forever, and they will not wish to leave it. (18/Kahf, 108) 109. Say: “If the seas were ink to write the words of my Lord, and We were to bring forth the same number of them, the sea would run out before the words of my Lord run out.” (18/Kahf, 109) 110. Say: “However, I am only a human being like you. It is revealed to me: ‘Your god is only One god.’ So whoever hopes to meet his Lord (and to receive a reward from Him) should do righteous deeds and not associate anything in worship with his Lord.” (18/Kahf, 110) The Quran has determined three conditions for the acceptance of an deed and its reward in the Hereafter, two of which are mentioned in this verse: a. The doer of the deed should be a monotheist who believes in monotheism and does not associate partners with Allah (swt). (See 14/Ibrahim, 18; 24/Nur, 39) b. The deed should be righteous: That is, it should be in accordance with the sharia and the Sunnah of the Prophet. (See 3/Aal-i Imran, 31-32; 4/Nisa, 64) The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Whoever does a deed and it is not according to our Sunnah, his deed is rejected.” (Bukhari, 2697; Muslim, 1718) c. Being sincere: Doing deeds only for the sake of Allah, not associating any goal with Allah’s sake. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Allah (swt) will say on the Day of Judgment: ‘I am free from polytheism.’” Whoever does a deed and associates anyone other than Me in his deed, I will abandon him and his deed.'” (Muslim, 2985) IMPORTANT SECTIONS 00:00 A scene from the Day of Judgment and the blowing of the Trumpet 07:20 The Field of Judgement and the presentation of Hell to the disbelievers 10:48 The situation of those who turn away from the Quran and its verses 14:35 The situation of those who take gods and friends other than Allah 21:35 Those who will be the most lost in terms of deeds 26:35 Is interpretation an obstacle to falling into disbelief? 34:00 Where and when did the fitnah of interpretation enter the Islamic Ummah?
