PALACE OF THE SUN - the name is not a coincidence and only reveals itself when you look at the building from the air, because its entire roof is covered with solar panels. And then there is the building itself, every square centimeter of its facade is decorated with paintings that are strongly reminiscent of Italian villas and palaces. The person responsible for this: a young Swiss artist who drew her inspiration from antiquity but also from nature itself. When we explored the Palace of the Sun in the winter of 2024, we were sure that we would be able to research a lot about it from home, but we were far from it. It used to be a kind of HOLIDAY HOME, a mixture of youth hostel and hotel, which we believe has once again fallen victim to the corona pandemic. Through the panoramic windows you can see from the outside that it is still fully furnished, but what awaits us inside literally leaves us speechless!
