SUCCESSFUL EXPERIMENT that DOUBLE MY TOMATO PRODUCTION. Where did the idea of this experiment come from? I produce my own TOMATO SEEDLINGS on the balcony, on the block, but the lack of space on the balcony limits me to setting up a space in which I can put a maximum of 6-7 cells of tomato seedlings, which means approximately 100 maximum 120 tomato plants. And since I grow EXOTIC TOMATO VARIETIES and ROMANIAN TOMATO VARIETIES that are not very productive, even if I have many plants, the total amount of tomatoes per season is not significant. As an idea, a plant that I grow produces much less than certain categories of TOMATO HYBRIDS that are extremely productive. If a TOMATO HYBRID produces 10 kg./plant, a TOMATO of mine does not produce more than 3-5 kg./plant. So I came up with this idea, to try to double my TOMATO PRODUCTION from the same number of plants. When did we start this experiment? In May of this year, when the TOMATO SEEDLINGS were already planted in the GARDEN, and the plants began to develop and create new shoots, new tomato babies. What does this experiment consist of? From the shoot or main stem of the tomato I left a child to grow in parallel with the plant, and at this point, when the plant has reached maturity and the fruit begins to ripen, the secondary stem resulting from the growth of that child is almost the same as vigorous as the main stem. And this means that approximately as many tomatoes grew on the secondary stem as on the main stem. Therefore, I managed to double my production of tomatoes this season from the same number of plants. SPRAYING ON TOMATOES For those of you who haven't watched the previous clips and are wondering what the bluish marks on plants and fruits are, find out that I spritzed the tomatoes with BORDEAUX. I also made a clip with the sprinkling, so I recommend you watch that clip. VARIETIES OF TOMATOES What varieties of tomatoes do I grow in my garden this year? Some are EXOTIC VARIETIES OF TOMATOES, and others are ROMANIAN TOMATO VARIETIES. When all the tomatoes are ripe, I will make a video in which I will tell you which varieties I grow and the advantages + disadvantages of each variety. CROPPING OF TOMATOES Following this experiment, we came to the conclusion that the plants need to be potted in order to develop properly, and the maximum number of shoots/plant would be three, so that the production of the plant, the quality of the tomatoes and their size are not affected .
