A new underground station including feeder lines: that is what Stuttgart 21 is supposed to be. A mega project and architect's dream, on which up to 6,000 people will work at the same time. Twelve-hour shifts, often nine to ten days in a row and always under time pressure. Completion should not be delayed any further. And: In the end, the controversial railway construction project will probably cost at least 10 billion euros, the estimated costs have been revised upwards again and again in recent years. That is Stuttgart 21, too.
