In the Odesa diocese, in the Tarutynsky parish, in the village of Voznesenka Druga, in the St. John-Pochaiv temple, a solemn feast was held on this day. Dear brothers and sisters! The world we live in is full of bustle and sin; how often we surrender ourselves to earthly cares and forget that there are things eternal and unchanging. Think about the greatness of what Christ accomplished. He came to free us from the bonds of sin that we could not break on our own. He came to bear our infirmities, to give us strength where we had none. He did not seek glory or wealth for Himself, did not seek power, but, with boundless love and humility, gave His life so that each of us could find the way to salvation. The Holy Scriptures teach that our faith should be reflected in our actions. Because as a lamp shines in the darkness, so our life should be a testimony of our love for God. Our actions should be full of mercy and compassion, and our words should be kind and edifying. God calls us to a life full of purity and hope, where we, as His children, show His grace to the world. We often face difficulties, doubts and pain, and sometimes it seems that the Lord has left us. But did He not say, "I will never leave you, nor forsake you"? So let's walk the path illuminated by His word and love. Let every day be a reflection of His light and love. Let us serve the Lord with joy, let us offer our prayers, let us live so that everyone can see the image of God in us. And then, on the great day when He comes again, we will be ready to stand before Him, knowing that our lives have been a testimony of our faith and devotion to Him.
