Stubbornness is the path to destruction – Dr. Sheikh Ahmed Al-Waili, may God have mercy on him (And there came from the farthest end of the city a man, running. He said, "O my people, follow the messengers. Follow those who do not ask of you any payment, and they are [rightly] guided.") Jesus, peace be upon him, used to send his disciples to several countries to preach the religion of God Almighty. So he sent two of his disciples to one of the regions of the Romans, and they came across Habib the carpenter, a man who was supervising the manufacture of idols. So they called him to God Almighty, and he had believed after they had prayed to God for him to be cured of leprosy, so he started running (running). After his faith, this man began calling people to believe in God Almighty and in the message of Jesus, peace be upon him. When the news reached the king, he imprisoned him and the two messengers of Jesus in the land of the Romans. Then the third disciple, Simon Peter, came and tried to curry favor with the king in such a way that he lured him into talking about the disciples and Habib the carpenter until he pushed him to summon them to appear before him. When they appeared before him, Simon spoke with them before the king and asked them about the sign of their truthfulness. They pointed to the king’s son who was crippled and said, “We ask God Almighty to heal him.” When they asked God to heal the king’s son and God answered them, the king believed in the message of Jesus. One of the lessons learned from this story is that if a person is presented with evidence regarding an idea or belief, he should not be too proud to believe in it. However, the reality of people in our human societies is that most of them are stubborn. How many people have realized the truthfulness of the Noble Messenger, may God bless him and his family, and the greatness of his eternal religion, yet they continue to attack Islam and Muslims? Rather, how many Muslims know that the guardianship of the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, is the truth and the path to salvation, yet they refrain from following them for empty considerations? Rather, you see some of them not only refrain from the guardianship of the Ahl al-Bayt, but they also denounce and attack their Shiites and their followers, even though the Noble Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, has always recommended them and their guardianship, but the nation has not observed God Almighty’s right in them. In a long hadith, the Ansar came to the Prophet, may God bless him and his family, and said: O Messenger of God, God Almighty has been good to us and has honored us with you and your arrival among us. Delegations may come to you and you do not find what to give them, so the enemy gloats over you. We would like you to take a third of our money, so that when the delegation of Mecca comes to you, you find what to give them. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family, did not respond to anything, and he was waiting for what would come to him from his Lord. Then Gabriel, peace be upon him, came down and said: (Say: I do not ask of you for this any reward except love for my relatives.) Condolences on the tragedies of the captives of the family of the Prophet, peace be upon them.
