The Seoul Shinmun will conclude its 2022 Abandoned Animal Report: Please Call My Name series with five relay interviews with people who raise abandoned animals like family. The second protagonist is celebrity Park Soo-hong, who became “Dahong’s father” after meeting a stray cat. It was a coincidence that Park met Dahong, a cat with black, soft fur and green eyes. On September 28, 2019 (the same day as Park’s lunar birthday), a stray cat that he met at a fishing spot in Jeongok Port, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, nuzzled into Park. This was the moment that Park was “chosen” as a butler.
