Allah will give us from His bounty, and so is His Messenger. Indeed, to Allah we are desirous. {And my success is not but through Allah. Upon Him I have relied, and to Him I turn.} The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (Whoever among you is unable to endure the night, and is miserly with his wealth, and is afraid to fight the enemy, then let him remember Allah often.) On the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: Whoever says in a day, “There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner or associate,” A partner with Him, His is the kingdom, His is the praise, and He has power over all things. One hundred times it will be equal to freeing ten slaves, and one hundred good deeds will be recorded for him, and one hundred bad deeds will be erased from him, and he will be protected from Satan that day until evening. No one will come with anything better than what he came with except a man who did more than he did. The hadith of Abu Sa`id al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him, said: “I have left among you something that if you hold fast to it, you will never go astray after me: the two weighty things - one of them is greater than the other - the Book of God, a rope extended from the heaven to the earth, and my family, the people of my house. Beware, they will not separate until they come to me at the Cistern.” Narrated by Ahmad (11578), Ibn Abi `Aasim in ((al-Sunnah)) (1553), Abu Ya`la (1140), and al-Tabarani.
