About :

Although I thought that there would be fewer games on my list of games to look forward to this year, I now have a few board games that I want to try at the SPIEL Messe 2024 in Essen. The motto this year is: be a little more open and try out games that you might not have noticed at first glance. So this time, in addition to the usual cooperative & thematic dungeon crawlers and adventure games such as Story of Many, Fateforge, Vrahode or Malhya Lands of Legends, my list also includes more abstract or mechanical board games such as Thorgal, Arcs, Spirit Island or Temple of Horrors. As always, board game adaptations of computer games are of course interesting, this year especially Dead Cells or Valheim the Boardgame.
