The Vézère… a river that is generally associated with the Dordogne and the prehistoric sites that border it. But today, we are going to explore a lesser-known part of this river, the one located in Corrèze. You will discover a wilder river, which over the course of its meanders has created landscapes with personality and nourished unique stories. The Vézère offers natural protection to Uzerche, a village as charming as it is astonishing, whose history we discover in the company of Corinne Michel-Dupuy, cultural coordinator of the archaeology-landscapes association. Then we meet Marc Brossard, Canoe Kayak coach. He supervises young Corréziens, some of whom are part of the French elite of whitewater sports. Continuing our descent, we will enter the Vézère gorges in the company of Nicolas, sports instructor from Oxygène Sports nature, to discover the splendors of the landscapes from the top of the via ferrata installed above the river. When the watercourse becomes calmer and the landscapes widen again, the hillsides of the Vézère valley welcome vines… Corrézienne viticulture, having fallen into oblivion, could have disappeared completely. But the adventure is restarting thanks to a group of friends who, 15 years ago, decided to relaunch it. A beautiful story to end this journey along this river of character. #capsudouest All the news in Nouvelle-Aquitaine ► http://france3-regions.francetvinfo.f...
