"Empty citadels", incredible castles perched on top of rocky peaks, an arid mountainous landscape with tormented relief, the south of Aude offers dizzying emotions. From Quéribus to Peyrepertuse, passing through deep gorges at the bottom of which flows precious water, we will discover a territory where men have written extraordinary stories, in tune with an environment that pushes us to surpass our limits. We are of course in Cathar Country. The objective is not to make a program on Catharism but to re-establish some truths and to better understand the particularities of Occitan society before the kingdom of France conquered this country. These are also life stories that we will highlight, destinies that this country has changed. That of David Maso, an archaeologist who made his childhood dreams come true. That of Roland Feuillas, former manager of the Suez group who became a baker in search not only of ancient seeds, of know-how but above all of a way of living together.
