Solid State Relay (SSR) This video will show in a theoretical and practical way how to connect, test and diagnose a SOLID STATE RELAY or SSR in two ways: The first way is with load on its output and the second way is without load on its output and by means of measurements with the multimeter. Solid State Relays or SSR are devices widely used in automation projects in the switching of resistive loads with control signals either in DC or AC. As its name indicates, Solid State Relays use solid state or semiconductor components such as TRIACS and SCRS, unlike conventional electromagnetic relays and contactors that in their construction use coils and mechanical elements to perform the switching. There are several advantages and disadvantages when using this type of devices and their comparison is based mainly with electromechanical relays. ------RECOMMENDED VIDEOS---- Don't miss any video: CLICK HERE ????
