What does our voice reveal about our appearance? Can we possibly draw conclusions about a person's attractiveness from their voice? In the Quarks Experiment we want to know: Can a woman tell how attractive she finds a man from their voice? When we talk on the phone, we automatically form an image of the person we are talking to and may judge a person's attractiveness from the first impression. But does this impression correspond to reality? Can we even overhear whether we find this person attractive or not? Time for a test. For the experiment, we cast five different men and invited them to a photo shoot. Afterwards, we went to the WDR recording studio for a short voice test.
