Among his musical idols he lists representatives of the Canadian music scene: the duo Majid Jordan, Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR, as well as Kid Ink from Los Angeles, whom he appreciates for his approach to music and sets as an example. He began his adventure with music with rap and funk, which resulted in founding a band in which he played, among others, the guitar. Growing up, he was surrounded by various music: from the works of the turn of the 60s and 70s, listened to from his dad's vinyl records, through Chris Brown and Omarion. All this made it difficult to fit Smolaste's songs into rigid genre frames. Apart from music, Smolaste is a huge fan of comics and cartoons, which is visible among his numerous tattoos. Until now, he has been known for his collaborations with other artists. He has produced the entire album 'Lot022' by Kaz Bałagane, which was hailed as the best underground album in Polish rap in 2015. His song 'Znowu nie ma jej' recorded with the production duo MXF met with great acclaim from both internet users and some radio stations.
