Aliff Zulkarnain (Keith Foo) is the son of Datuk Affendi (Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan), the owner of a real estate company in Kuala Lumpur. They intend to develop a resort in Pulau Perindu, Langkawi. They conspired with the fisherman, namely Budiman (Farid Kamil) to incite the villagers to sell their land for the purpose of developing the resort. Khadejah (Nur Fazura) is against the sale due to the fact that her house was built by her late father. Aliff tried to solve the problem by approaching Khadejah's mother, Mak Piah (Ogy Ahmad Daud). The seeds of romance began to bloom when Aliff saw the importance of the house to Khadejah and Mak Piah. He also began to recognize the true meaning of life and learned to understand that simplicity is beautiful. Although the family opposed the relationship, Aliff was determined to marry Khadejah.
