Safe, delicious, and organic, Japanese dried shiitake mushrooms are becoming increasingly popular overseas. Primarily produced in Oita Prefecture on the southern island of Kyushu, dried shiitake mushrooms are grown by seeding Japanese oak logs with mycelium, on which the mushrooms slowly grow in the forests.
